The important limit is by design: it produces calculations only, no interpretation. Its own disclaimer says the numbers should not be the only consideration in a decision, which is a refreshingly honest line for the category. General AI chatbots — best for concept questions, never chart math
Tools like ChatGPT are free and genuinely good at explaining ideas: what the Day Master is, how the Five Elements relate, what a clash means. Use them as a patient tutor and they earn their place.
Where they fail is plotting. Solar-term boundaries, the late Zǐ hour, and timezone conversion all require exact astronomical data, and general chatbots guess. The plotting is usually correct-ish, but the interpretation is boilerplate with zero judgment applied to your situation. As a keepsake or a first taste it is fine.
